*Blibaum Law is a debt collector and information obtained may be used for that purpose.
Nina Basu likens being a litigator to a game of chess. She thrives on creatively applying the rules of law to develop the best business litigation strategies for her clients.
“I think a lot of times that people think lawyers run up bills and float paper and tell people ‘no,’” Ms. Basu acknowledges. “Ultimately our goal is to solve a business problem.” She reports that it’s incredibly satisfying to apply solutions that clients would not have thought about on their own. “It is almost always cheaper in the long run to get expert advice at the beginning.” She adds that the expenses for clients climb faster when they dig themselves into a hole and try to tackle issues that they don’t have the tools to solve.
Ms. Basu is also passionate about applying her legal knowledge to her role as a community volunteer with multiple organizations.
